The distillery sits on a former tea plantation about 22 miles southwest of downtown Charleston, accessed via Maybank Highway through Johns Island and then Bears Bluff Road across the Bohicket Creek. There is no public transit to Wadmalaw Island, and the rural two-lane approach has zero rideshare availability after dark.
